VALENTINE'S DAY POST ♥

It's been a while since I last posted something on my blog and new things have come my way these past few months. I've already missed sharing things about my day-to-day activities, from last year's Christmas celebration, to New Year, to Sinulog 2013 and some activities in school which I gladly participated. To sum up everything, I have been very happy and fulfilled these past few months, from late November down to this very day! God has showered me so much blessings which I didn't even expect nor wish.

To start my post, let me share to you this quote, "Good things come to those who wait". This has always been my inspiration from the moment I got very sad about the things that happened to me 3 years ago. To make it short, the long wait is over! God has given me someone I can call my own, finally! And this Valentine's Day Post is dedicated to him. :)

When I first met you, I honestly didn't know you were gonna be this important to me. Just when I thought nothing good was ever gonna happen to me anymore, you suddenly came and changed that notion of mine.

For my bestfriend/boyfriend,

The day I met you, I never knew I'd fall. All I ever wanted was just someone whom I can call a "friend". But suddenly I noticed, I wasn't looking for a "friend" but a "partner". Someone I can call "mine". During the "get-to-know-you" stage, I was really impressed on how amazing your parents are for raising such a very wonderful child. I may not know everything about you for we are still starting to know each other very well, but everything is already clear to me, you are one of my most favorite person in the world. You are one of the people who are close to perfection.

I’m happy I found you in this world. Out of the millions of guys out there you’re truly the only one that’s half of me. I promise to cherish every second with you and never lie or keep anything from you, the good or the bad, because you deserve to know everything.

I want you to know how much I love you. Loving you is everything to me. And when you’re not around? I miss you more than anything. You’re the one who makes my heart beat fast and slow at the same time. No matter how hard they try, no one in this world can change my feelings for you.

One mistake doesn't have to mean it’s over. I believe I came to know you for a reason, I believe the things you say will come true, I believe, with you in my life I’ll make it. I love the way you care for me. I love the way you make me feel safe. I will never leave your side, I accept every bit of you- your perfections and imperfections. Not every one is perfect but you are PERFECT to me.

I just wanted to do something simple to say you're amazing. I want everyone to know how much you mean to me. Ever since you have entered my life, I’ve been flying on Cloud 9 and I have not come down yet.

I tell you this everyday, you are the most beautiful person I know, inside and out and I see that more clearly with each passing day. I love everything about you, about us. You do something to me that no other has, you have made me so happy, the happiest I've ever been. You give me the most amazing feelings inside and its been exciting and just pure bliss. I've never met someone that was so good for me, and made me want them to this extent. I miss you when you're not around and I'm the happiest when you are. You've got me enthused about life and the little things it has to offer. Before I met you I was so concentrated and fixated on the negative because it was everywheres, it was all i saw. You walked into my life and tore my walls down, and ever since there's been so much good walking into my life and for that, thank you. You took the time to figure me out and I know that's not easy.

I still don’t know what I did to be so lucky to have you in my life. In this short time that we’ve been together, we have grown so much and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.

People are always going to talk and they’re always going to say what they want to say, but no matter what they think, say, and do— I don’t care. Knowing that we’re not like the couples in love around us who get to enjoy the physical aspects of being in a relationship, I’m grateful to know that even with all the distance between us—just the strength proven among us now let’s me know that our foundation for a future together will be unbreakable. But I won’t lie to you; I do wish I was closer to you.

I love the way you make me smile and laugh even when it’s accidentally done because it lights me up from the inside out. I love how each morning I awake to beautifully written text messages filled with sweetness and love from you. The serenity you grant me each time I’m blessed to witness firsthand of what is being abundantly poured from your heart, mind, and soul each day is heavenly. But to know that I’m what’s on your mind first thing each day you wake up leaves me speechless. To finally know what love feels like when it’s being reciprocated from an honest and beautiful being such as you deems me as the luckiest girl in the world and I’m not ashamed to say that I love you for that.

You’re truly one of a kind and what I’ve wanted in a man for the longest time. No one compares to you because they’re not you. I believe that things happen for a reason, and I’m actually happy that I’ve experienced heartaches and heartbreaks in the past… only because waiting around for a man like you to come into my life was well worth the pain, struggle, and wait. Yes, we’re distance apart, but that’s what I love most… is the fact that we get very excited to see each other again after a week or two.

I understand that the kind of love we’ve decided to take on won’t be easy, but knowing that you’re by my side makes it feel like this will all be a piece of cake! Thank you for taking a chance on love even with the vast distance between us because I know it’s not for the fainthearted.  So with that being said, I promise my heart, loyalty, trust, respect, happiness, and love to you and only you… let’s make this work. :)

Infinite hugs and kisses,
Gaea ♥

FACILITATOR'S TRAINING (FINALS)

Before we were able to make this training happen, our class and our subject teacher have undergone many circumstances. And just to make this training happen, we signed a petition to allow us to conduct this training. To make this story short, we were allowed, but not on the same date. Last October 14-15 was the first batch, and during 16-17 was our batch, the second batch.

Here are some FAQs with their corresponding answers:

1. Why does it have to be conducted outside the school?
    -  Simply because learning doesn't revolve in the four corners of the classroom.

2. Why is your payment so expensive?
    - Honestly, before the training, when we were told that we have to pay a very high amount, we also questioned the amount, we even asked for the breakdown. But when we arrived on the place, we were really given great accommodation. There were free breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner. They even served us with Lechon. The accommodation was really great that we could even say the amount we paid is not enough.

3. Why Coal Mountain Resort?
   - It was our teacher who decided to conduct the training there. Maybe because she knows the owner. All of us were first-timers on that place. But to tell you, it was all worth it.

4. Was the place nice?
  - YES!!! The place was very nice. They have many rooms where you can rest, a very clean bathroom, a 4ft. pool with slide, a 7ft. pool, a 17ft. pool, hanging bridge, zipline, cable car, a gym, a cave, mini zoo and a very accommodating staff. Although the place has no signal for Sun Cellular users, but I guess it's an advantage, so that you could just forget the world and enjoy the rest of your stay there.

5. How far is it from the city?
  - Very far. The place was very mountainous. Don't worry, because they have their own coasters to bring you there. It might take you 3-4 hours of travel.

So enough of the FAQs, to feed the excitement of wanting to see what the place could really offer, here are some pictures I took, I even grabbed from some of my friends' album. A big credit to Bench Olvis, Arjun Siega, Cris Go and Deacent Tamarra.

Our first hanging bridge experience.

After an hour of getting familiar with the place, our Team conducted our module activity. Our participants were the Team 2. Our module activity was entitled "The Evolution of Man, Survival of the Fittest". Because we were the facilitators, we were not able to take pictures during the activity. After we have conducted the activity, we were given an hour to enjoy. So here are some pictures we had.

Again, with great group of people.

It was almost sunrise when we finished. We ate dinner and after that, we had an activity. The two teams will be presenting their songs and yells in front of the teachers. Here are glimpse.

Team 2, the winning team for songs and yells.

There were still activities after the songs and yells presentation. The next activity was the bonfire activity. Wherein we were told to pick up twigs. After picking twigs, we were gathered together. We were told that we will be standing in front by three's and shout our hearts out on all the negative energies we feel toward others. If we feel disappointed or whatever. That was one of my favorite part because you get to express what you wanted to say long time ago. After that, there was this wash-the-feet activity, wherein you will be picking the person whom you have encountered with not so good terms. And you will wash his/her feet. After few hours, we slept at exactly 1am.

The next day, our first activity in the morning was the team 2's module. We were the participants that time. And my most favorite part of their activity was this.

The water guns!!

After a very tiresome activity, we were given 2 hours to enjoy the rest of the day. So we went ziplining, went to 17ft. pool to take the risk of swimming in a very deep water, and just forgot the world. The next thing was we took our lunch, and we had our presentations by team then awarding of the most recognized junior facilitators.
