BERDE

"Hindi lang pula ang kulay ng pag-ibig."

Love indeed is a beautiful thing. It is universal. It is the reason for our existence, purpose and even our humanity.However, what happens when love is challenged by the un-accepting public? When the basic unit of society dismisses their children asking for acceptance and understanding.  

Berde is foremost a story of a father, mother, and a son, and their relationship with each other, and how this relationship has changed the very core of their own existence.

It was a great privilege to be able to witness such amazing play that Focus production has something to offer. Last Saturday, August 18, 2012, at CAP Auditorium, we were able to witness the play together with other students from different schools. The play was very awesome, it showed what reality truly means for all the Gay couples out there. I just realized that what they are feeling right now is never an easy thing -- to be disrespected by the society. The actors were really great, they showcased their talents on how to portray the role and they did it very well.
